Virus Blast!

A short shoot 'em up, inspired by arcade games, made for the GMTK 2024 Game Jam centred around the theme, "Built to Scale". The game uses the theme by having the player character be so small they can travel in the human body and fight off the viruses within it.

You'll travel down the throat; in the stomach; and through the bloodstream shooting viruses, in order to cure the body completely.

While I feel the proud of what I've managed to make this year, comparing it to previous game jam games this is one that I'm the proudest of, I was unable to add music as well as some more features that I initially wanted in the game due to personal constraints.

Hold "esc" to close the game
